"You could read quite a story..."

"...in the callouses and lines,
Years of work and worry, had left their mark behind.

There are things that I've forgotten that I loved about the man,
But I'll always remember the love in Daddy's hands.

Daddy's hands, were soft and kind when I was cryin'
Daddy's hands, were hard as steel when I done wrong
Daddy's hands weren't always gentle
But I've come to understand
There was always love in Daddy's hands."

Together again, just as it should be. I hope you both enjoyed your latest good yell at each other. Please behave and don't give God too much of a headache. *S*

I won't say goodbye Poppy. I'll say that I love you, and that I miss you, and that I'll see you again...in the sun and the rain and the seasons and the "ever after". I still feel the love in your hands.

I don't have many but I'll post what I have scanned on the album site and post the address in case you don't have it anymore. Please feel free to use any photos I post in either place. He was our Poppy so I figure the pictures belong to all of us.

A beautiful tribute. I'm a friend of Carolyn's and I'm so sorry for your loss.
